AMFORHT

Since 1969, the World Association for Hospitality and Tourism Education and Training has brought together schools and educators in hospitality and tourism worldwide. We share its belief that a destination's quality starts with training its people.

Universidad Anáhuac Cancún

The university has engaged our faculty to co-create specialized content, which it has offered commercially through its programmes.

It also recognizes our internship programme: its students train with LUSHIA and Regenera Luxury, and the university credits the hours they work.

Rainforest Expeditions

We work with this benchmark for ecotourism and conservation in the Peruvian Amazon, which brings travellers and students closer to the rainforest from its lodges Tambopata Research Center, Refugio Amazonas and Posada Amazonas.

Congratulations, Rainforest Expeditions! Refugio Amazonas won a Regenera Luxury Hospitality Award 2026 for its leadership in biodiversity and landscape regeneration. It was a pleasure to take part in assessing its actions and its social and environmental impact, which promote and strengthen the Peruvian Amazon.

Asa Wright Nature Centre

A non-profit land trust that has protected the forest of the Arima Valley, in Trinidad's Northern Range, since 1967. Around Spring Hill, an early 20th-century planter's house, more than 170 bird species have been recorded, among them the oilbirds of Dunston Cave.

Since 1967 ~1,500 acres of protected forest 170+ bird species

We have visited this historic institution in person and are supporting it as it moves towards a regenerative tourism approach. After the visit and a review of its facilities and model, Héctor de Castro championed a Regenera Luxury grant for Asa Wright to begin its certification process, to the benefit of the nature reserve.

Enkopiro Camp won a Regenera Luxury Hospitality Award 2026 for community impact.

We feature it as a partner because it proves what we stand for: luxury hospitality can leave education, health and opportunity in its destination for the people who live there.

Founding partner

World Regenerative Tourism Day

World Regenerative Tourism Day is an annual observance, every 23 May, that invites hotels, destinations, institutions and individuals to move from reducing harm to leaving a positive legacy.

The initiative is launched by Regenera Luxury, and Luxury Sustainable Hotels, A.C. takes part as a founding partner. Joining is free: it is a public commitment to its principles, not a certification.

Recognition we support

Regenera Luxury Hospitality Awards

We support Regenera Luxury's international awards, the first dedicated exclusively to regenerative luxury in hotels and retreats. They do not reward the room or the spa, but the real impact each property leaves on its natural surroundings, its community and its culture.

We support them because they recognize what lies at the heart of our mission: staff wellbeing and development, cultural heritage and partnerships with local communities. Every entry is assessed on verifiable evidence, not on claims.

Collaboration request

Tell us who you are and what you are interested in. We will reply from info@lushia.org.

Every collaboration starts with an assessment. Every person or organization that works with LUSHIA first completes a short assessment to show that they share our values and our commitment to action. We will explain the steps when we reply. Read the assessment →
